September Highlights: Closing Out Summertime

What a fun and eventful month we’ve had here at Batavia Nursing Care Center! As we wrapped up the summer, our residents enjoyed a trip to East Fork Lake, where we strolled around the water, watched the first autumn leaves begin to fall, and topped it off with a delicious stop for ice cream.



With the start of football season, we kicked off several tailgating events, complete with all the favorite game-day snacks, much to the delight of our residents. One of the most heartfelt moments this month was the pinning ceremony we held for one of our honored Veterans—an unforgettable tribute to his service.



In addition to our own activities, we were thrilled to attend the Senior Prom at the Clermont County Senior Center. Our residents had a blast mingling with fellow seniors from the community, and we certainly danced the night away!

Back at the facility, we've had multiple entertainers stop by, and our residents absolutely adore the dance parties—there’s nothing like music to lift everyone's spirits. We also introduced a new game station in the dining area, which has quickly become a hit among residents.
