May Highlights: Finding Joy Every Day

Our intent at our premier nursing home is to make every day an exciting experience filled with activities, appreciation for staff, and memorable events. In the Month of May, we celebrated both Nurses Week and Nursing Home Week with enthusiasm and joy. Our residents had a blast participating in various activities and games throughout the weeks. Despite the rain, they delighted in dunking staff members in the dunk booth and relished the refreshing treats from Kona Ice. Dress-up days added to the fun, with residents joining in on the festivities alongside the staff.
We hold our staff in high regard and show our appreciation through various means. During special events like Nursing Home Week, they enjoy a week of free food and prizes, a small token of our gratitude for their hard work and dedication. Our residents also take part in recognizing exceptional staff members by giving out tickets and rewarding them with snacks.
Looking ahead, we are excited to host a back-to-school carnival in August. With games, food, and fun prizes, it will be a delightful event for both residents and their families.
