Hello, Summer - June Highlights!

The month of June flew by, and there were so many fun memories being made here at Batavia Nursing Care Center!

We started the month with some revitalizing outside events. Our gardening club worked their green thumbs and now has a garden that's in full bloom, we celebrated our June birthdays with some entertainment from David Wayne and hosted a Vintage Car Show. Our ladies enjoyed a pampering spa day, and everyone got to enjoy a visit from Faith, a German Shepherd therapy dog.



Let's not forget our Father's Day events that celebrated all the wonderful dads and grandfathers in our lives. We even made several trips out on the new bus this month. Everyone loved Cracker Barrel, our first fishing trips, and Dairy Queen for some nice, cold ice cream on these hot summer days. One of the most memorable weeks was celebrating our STNAs for all their hard work. We are so blessed to have such a great caring team here at Batavia!



We have lots of big events and parties at our skilled nursing facility, but it's the little day-to-day activities that make a huge difference in our residents' lives. Come and visit to see what life is like at Batavia Nursing Care Center!
