Happy Retirement, Lisa!

It is with heartfelt emotions that we announce that Lisa Riley is retiring from Batavia Nursing Care Center. We will miss her dearly but wish her the very best.
Lisa's journey with us started when she toured our facility in 1977 with her High School as a potential place for employment. A little over a decade later, in 1987, she signed onto our 2nd shift Laundry Department. She transferred to our day shift in Laundry in 1998 and now works in Housekeeping. Lisa has worked closely with Sandy Davis, our Housekeeping Supervisor, for the past 22 years.
Getting To Know Lisa:
Lisa grew up in Felicity, Ohio, on a 314-acre farm, 21 of those acres utilized for growing tobacco. Lisa graduated from high school in 1978. She married the love of her life, Mike, the summer between her junior and senior years, and after they were married, they relocated to Mount Orab, Ohio. Lisa and Mike have one 42-year-old daughter named Beth and two grandchildren, Destiny and Ryan.

One of Lisa's best memories of working here is the festive time of Christmas! Lisa is looking forward to working on her antique cars and traveling Route 66 after retirement.
We wish Lisa the very best retirement and look forward to seeing her stop by as a visitor. Enjoy being a master of whatever you love to do the most! Thank you for the past 35 years of service to our residents and staff!
